1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using the KanakkuBook platform ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
2. Platform Purpose & Public Ledger Transparency
KanakkuBook provides transparent accounting and real-time public ledger software for community events, thiruvizhas, organizations, and personal finance management.
- Organizers who publish public event ledgers acknowledge that income entries, verified expenses, and donor names will be accessible to public viewers for audit transparency.
- Financial data entered must be accurate, authentic, and supported by valid transaction receipts or bills.
3. User Responsibilities & Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your email, password, and 6-digit Security PIN.
- You agree not to share your 6-digit Security PIN or password with unauthorized third parties.
- You must notify kanakkubook01@gmail.com immediately upon discovering any unauthorized access to your account.
4. User Roles & Accountability
The Platform enforces role-based access permissions:
Event Organizers & Admins
Responsible for logging real income/expense records, uploading receipts, and inviting verified team members.
Verifiers & Auditors
Responsible for auditing financial transactions, verifying receipt authenticity, and ensuring zero discrepancy.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
KanakkuBook offers Free, Basic, Premium, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Feature limits (such as active ledger count and receipt upload volume) apply based on your active subscription plan. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
6. Limitation of Liability
KanakkuBook provides accounting software as a utility. While we maintain 99.9% uptime and encrypted backups, KanakkuBook shall not be held liable for inaccurate records entered by event organizers or dispute claims arising between community members.
